Pac Rims 2016 - Senior Event Finals Live Blog

Time for Senior Event finals at the Pacific Rim Championships. I'm a little late to the game, sorry about that. So I'm starting with uneven bars for women. Refresh the page every 10-15 minutes or so for the deets.

Pac RIms Live Blog - Women's Team & All-Around Session 2

Subdivision 1 has concluded at the 2016 Pacific Rim Championships, now on to Subdivision 2 - featuring team USA, New Zealand, Canada and Japan. Expect a cameo from Georgia star, Brittany Rogers who is representing team Canada. When this girl ever has time to sleep is beyond me.

NCAA Power Rankings: Regionals Edition

Well, Regionals have happened... It was rough, I gotta tell you. I've had a couple days, and I feel like I've emotionally recovered enough to do Power Rankings Regionals Editions. Or maybe this is just therapy for me. As per usual, these aren't the official Road to Nationals rankings (or in this case the rankings after Regionals), rather they are stories and people that have caught my attention throughout the week, whether it be note-worthy events or a reaction to something. Previously for Conference Championships, the power rankings were: 1. UCLA's side eye inducing beam total 2. Peng Peng Is Injured...Again 3. Florida wins the SEC Championship; Coach Jenny Rowland has her Oscar Moment 4. Kaytianna McMillian of Oregon State does a hella cool back spin on floor 5. Zoe Draghi of Cal's funky floor choreography 6. No tens for you, Ebee Price or McKenzie Wofford With that, here are the Regionals Power Rankings:

Pac Rims Team: #TeamBrenna is Back

Yesterday, Team USA announced the team competing at the Pacific Rim Championships this coming weekend. A miracle happened. #TeamBrenna is back. That's right, one Miss Brenna Dowell, Oklahoma Sooner, bars phenom is back. She was named to the team along with Worlds' teammates' Simone Biles, Maggie Nichols and Aly Raisman. Also named to the team: Ashton Locklear, 2014 Team World Champion and the most anticipated new senior of the year: Laurie Hernandez. Artwork via USA Gymnastics

Utah Regional Live Blog

I'm back. I've recovered from the trauma of the last regional and I'm here to provide all the deets for the Utah Regional from Salt Lake City. As per usual, refresh the page every few minutes to follow along.

Regionals Live Blog

Today we have the NCAA Gymnastics Regionals. These six meets will determine who will get a ticket to Fort Worth in a couple of weeks for the NCAA Gymnastics Championships. There are so many regionals all at about the same time, I'm going to do one giant live blog for all of them. Refresh the page every few minutes or so for all the updates. We'll begin our journey in Georgia for the Athens Regional.

Regionals Preview

The post season is OFFICALLY upon us. Saturday, April 2nd, six regional qualifying meets will be held. A total of 36 teams (six per regional) are competing and the top two finishers from each of the regionals will go on to the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth – April 15-16. Expect some pretty intense competition going on in these regionals.   Gone are the days where the top 12 ranked teams were a static number and unchanging. The level of parity between the top 30 teams is dynamic and there is bound to be some upsets. I am previewing the six regionals.   I will consider the teams' past performance over the course of the season, consider their consistency and their overall trend over time. So, with that, we shall get started
