Simone Biles Goes Professional

The inevitable has happened.

Two time world all-around champion, Simone Biles has forfeited her NCAA eligibility and has gone professional.

Simone herself broke the news on her Twitter account earlier today.

Simone had committed to UCLA and was set to attend in the 2016-2017 season. But with Simone's rising success, her star power has become a force to be reckoned with.  She signed with Octagon, a sports marketing and management firm, who also represents Fierce Five member, Aly Raisman.  While Simone would have been amazing at UCLA, she's had a continuing level of success and it's ultimately a decision she was going to have to make.

Best of luck to Simone!
