Maggie Nichols Training A Full Twisting Double Layout

Swaggie Maggie is getting her swag on in the gym..

The Pan American Team gold medalist and all-around bronze medalist posted a video on her Instagram account of her training a new skill, a full twisting double layout.

Maggie's got swag alright. The skill is not perfect, but it's still damn awesome. She gets good height and amplitude in the air. She's still got a little bit to go on the landing since it looks like she's piking down a little bit prematurely, causing her to step back. Will she add that skill in her floor routine for championships and wind up kicking everyone's ass? Who knows. Only time will tell.

Maggie made her senior debut in 2013, but in 2014 is when she proved she was a contender on the international scene. She took home the bronze medal at the Secret Classic and later, the P&G Championships. She was named to the Pan American Championships team but had to withdraw after she disclocated her knee cap in the team final. She still took home a bronze medal for the all-around and a team gold medal.
