Former NCAA Gymnast Kacy Cantanzaro Becomes First Woman to Qualify to ANW Finals; More Proof Gymnasts Are Bad Asses

Former NCAA gymnast Kacy Catanzaro proved once again how gymnasts are bad asses when she became the first woman to qualify for the American Ninja Warrior final Tuesday in Dallas.

Kacy is not only the first woman to qualify for the final, but she is the only woman to complete the obstacle course. Her gymnastics training came in handy as she completed the course with ease. The commentators are just amazed, they can't believe how well she swings on a bar in the course. It's all that time on the uneven bars.

Kacy's NCAA career was spent at Towson University, where she graduated in 2011. She mostly competed on vault, bars and beam.

The American Ninja Warrior will hold the finals in Las Vegas. Vegas is the home of countless Cirque Du Solei shows, where countless NCAA gymnasts land after their collegiate careers. Maybe a Cirque stint is next for Kacy? Or maybe she will just win the whole thing and bring more attention to gymnastics... Perhaps sparking an adult gymnastics revolution? A girl can dream.
