Nush's Perfect 10 on Beam

The day has finally come.

That day, is the day that Danusia Francis scored a perfect 10 on the balance beam.

Danusia is an absolutely glorious beam worker, NCAA or otherwise. This routine highlights her ridiculous flexibility. She mounts with a Silivas mount, shades of 1996 Dominique Moceanu. She ends with her transverse aerial to immediate full and sticks it. No problem, just another day in the life of Nush. 10.00, sunshine and rainbows and awesomeness just shooting out of every orifice.

By the way, this routine made my husband say "Holy crap!" in awe and amazement.

This was Danusia's first perfect 10 of her NCAA career. The UCLA Bruins won with 197.050 in a tri-meet with Bowling Green and Utah State. Danusia is currently ranked 3rd on beam behind Florida's Bridget Sloan and Mackenzie Caquatto with an average of 9.906.
