European Bars Silver Medalist Jonna Adlerteg To Miss Worlds

Sweden will be represented by only one gymnast as  European silver medalist Jonna Adlerteg will sadly miss the World Championships this year.

According to an article on svt.se, Jonna is dealing with health issues that may be related to some previous injuries.
The exact details are unknown, but Jonna said she had an infection and an allergic reaction that is treated with cortisone.

Ida Gustaffson will be the only Swede to grace the World Championships stage in a couple of weeks.

18-year-old Jonna won the silver medal on the uneven bars at the European Championships in April behind Aliya Mustafina. This was Sweden's first medal at the Euro's in 50 years.
