Juniors To Watch: Amelia Hundley

This junior's to watch edition is featuring Mary Lee Tracey disciple, Amelia Hundley
Vital Statistics:
Date of Birth: January 21, 1998
Age: 15
Club: Cincinnati Gymnastics, Cincinnati, Ohio
Coach: Mary Lee Tracey

Amelia is the latest disciple to come out of Mary Lee Tracey's gym. This is the gym that famously produced 1996 Olympic Team Champions Amanda Borden and Jaycee Phelps.

Amelia is already a prominent junior on the USA Gymnastics scene. Last year at the national championships, she placed third on the uneven bars. She competed in Everett, Washington with the junior team at the Pacific Rim Championships where the team took home the gold medal.

Recently, she competed at the City of Jesolo Cup in Jesolo, Italy where she took home a bronze medal in the all around.  Amelia is a hopeful for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

Amelia has a fun, cute, spunky floor routine that's 50 shades of Amanda Borden. She competes a fantastic, clean DTY on vault now, but maybe, we will see an Amanar from her in the future? She's already a strong all around competitor and she will only get better with age.  Her parents own a dance studio which is where she got that dance ability from. She also trains with another prominent junior on the US Team, Lexie Priessman, last year's junior national champion.
